The Metropolitan Museum of Art Malta: Illumination of the Adoration Holiday Cards

Art Christmas cards inspired by The Met collection. Our Christmas cards feature a charming image originally made in 1967 by Vincent Malta (American, 1922-2015), who taught at the Art Students League in New York City for more than 30 years. The original painting is a festive interpretation of the fabulous illuminated manuscripts of the Middle Ages. Produced in cooperation with American Artists Group.
